Edge Intelligence Wins Best Emerging Big Data Technology Award – 2018

May 21, 2018

It takes hard work and dedication to stand out in the big data technology landscape. Since inception, we’ve been determined to make a mark by changing the way people think about big data warehousing, edge computing and database design.

While our greatest satisfaction will always come from helping customers realize new insights from data, it’s nice to get other forms of recognition along the way. This is what happened just recently at the Grand Connaught Rooms in central London.

Best Emerging Big Data Technology

With 18 categories covering many areas of big data and IoT, we learned Edge Intelligence had won the 2018 Best Emerging Technology in Big Data Award amongst a crowded field. Co-Founders Duncan Pauly and Paul McCafferty accepted the award on behalf of the entire team.

Edge Intelligence was in prestigious company. Numerous giants within the big data and cybersecurity vendor ecosystem such as Cloudera, DarkTrace, Red Hat, Splunk and Tableau also took home awards.

After taking a brief moment to celebrate this win, we’re back at it – developing software for distributing big data analytics, event processing and machine learning at the edge. We are helping enterprises, governments and communication service providers extract maximum business value from their data. Our road to success continues as we win over prospects with each new discussion and customer implementation.

It shouldn’t take 80% of a data analyst’s time to find & prepare data vs. 20% to analyze and present their findings. If you’d like to learn more about our approach to overcoming lost business insights and the other headaches associated with moving (transferring) data across disparate geographies, please Contact Us for a no obligation demonstration.

Our technology is field proven at petabyte scale and is now also award winning!
